ok ill like to know if you would buy a fish knowin it will outgrow the tank you have now.

and if you had a bigger tank that could be setup befor it outgrows the tank its in.


would you buy the fish or wate to bigger tank is setup?

Depends on a lot. Current and future tank sizes. Type of fish and how fast they grow. If you already have the bigger tank and equipment needed. However, generally I would recommend against it. Plans for bigger tanks fall through very often as they are on the bottom of most of our financial priority list and if anything comes up they get bumped. If your life becomes hectic, tank upgrades also are one of the first things to get bumped.

It really depends on the fish you want. If you have a 20, and want a tiny tang, or shark it isn't a good idea.
