I have 4 of these in my tank and have been waiting for one of them to move in order to be able to get it out. Well over the last few days it has been searching for a spot and ended up on my Tyree Chalice today so I was able to get it out and put it in my sump. There are no lights and little flow in my sump so I need someone who can pick it up tomorrow (Sunday).
It is probably 10 inches across when opened, maybe a bit more and is beautiful. If you have seen my tanks before it was one of the ones on the backside of my 180.
I would say you need at least a 75g tank or larger for this with strong lighting and strong flow. Probably best if you have had the tank setup for at least 6 months.
