Large reef safe angel

no, no single fish in the pomacanthide family is reef safe. the genus geniacanthus is more reef safe than others, but there's no guarantee.

If you are putting any large angel in a reef, go with one from the Chaetodontoplus genus. They are for the most part reef safe. But most will nip at very fleshy coral, such as elegance corals, bubble corals, wellsly, and so on. A regal might work, but are difficult.
Again it does depend on the exact fish, and the tank.

There are some that are semi-safe for certain corals, i.e. SPS. Meaty LPS corals are going to be at risk.
