Large Tank Calcium Reactor recommendation

I'm setting up a 700gal system which I plan to be SPS heavy plus clams -- ie heavy calcium demands. What's my best choice for a calcium reactor? I'm more concerned about performance and reliability than cost.

I would look into geo calcium reactors or red dragons. Check them out. Tell me what you think. Im getting a geo for my 265 reef tank

Don't have any experience with the US brands like Geo etc. But I always liked my Schuran Jetstream II, by-passed with a large vessel for more reaction time.

GEO 818

GEO 818

I have seen the GEO 818 in use on a local reefer's 600G reef - total water volume probably 750G. The 818 just loafs along on this SPS intensive system.

If you can find one of these monsters, I hear they work great. Setting mine up this weekend. Volcano skimmers that were based on the schuran calcium reactors

Geo all the way, nothing is easier or more dependable. The so called "high-end" reactors are also very high maintenance and high dollar. I have had a few Geo reactors and most of my friends have them, they are rock solid, built to last a lifetime and the customer service will never be beat;)

I have a GEO 8/18 and very happy. Prior i had deltec and was constantly fiddling with levels and had powerhead impeller problems. You can get eheim pump for 8/18 or panworld, i got panworld and working flawlessly to this point.

I also had a Barr 2200 and got tired of adjusting it and sold it, now I have a 8/36 custom built GEO it works flawlessly
