Large Tank Mixed Tang Photos !!!!

and action........pictures please ! I can post pics of my 58 but that wouldn't even cover JustJoe's daily evaporation. I am sure it wouldn't even be close. In fact I would be surprised if his weely skimmate approaches 58 gallons.

I too am curious about the skimmate and please PM me on the private tour ! LOL

LMK when you're in the area, we're about 1.5 hrs from Brooklyn, you could take the Orient Ferry back over to make the trip easier.

The skimmate line goes directly to a drain, so not sure how much/ day is being removed. When cleaning out the neck and riser one time, I did remove over 4 pounds of muck.
The picture below was from a day when I didn't have it adjusted properly and had a bit of an overflow...

Look closely and you'll see my footprints in the foam as I ran around the corner to adjust a valve... I just had to take a picture of it!

Nice. I also have a borther-in-law in Sag Harbor so I will make it done at some point. Can't say when. I hate to leave Maine in the summer months because it is so nice.

Hey Guys,
Joe is a real down to earth kind of guys and i am so proud to have him our president of our club LIRA, Long Island Reef Association. He is a true pioneer in the reef hobby. There many things he has done to bring this hobby in the limelight that he won't tell you, such as being the first to propagate acropora and grow it on a flower pick.
Truely a class A hobbyist.
