Large tank owners, I need some advice.

I'm 5'2 and have no problem with the use of a penguin ladder--2 step w/large top step and long tongs and grippers. Request wider overflow cuts as they congest easily w/algae. Also allows for higher flow rate 4300gph. Mine is a peninsula 250DD all starfire and don't look back to the 125g acrylic. Bigger tank grows bigger colonies. Go LED for full coverage deep into the corners.

Totally off topic, but what I that fish on the bottom right?
It was only up for a few minutes but it looked like a blue-striped angelfish (Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis).

I would do it. Just make sure you have enough room to fit comfortably around it. I measured before adding trim to the tank so now it's really tight for me. I don't touch the back glass. Just the sides and front. Reaching the bottom is a pain as I'm 5'9", and I have three urchins and four very large turbos that bulldoze everything. I'm in the tank every day picking things up, but I've been too lazy to just glue them so it's partially my fault.

I have a 150 DD and when I set up again in the new house I will absolutely have a mechanical lift for my stock canopy. Such a pain having to disconnect all my lights and bother my wife just to lift it off to work in the back of the tank.

arent those coral eaters?

Which since this is a thread about large tanks, other then tangs, what other large fish does a tank like this open you up to keeping? any large reef safe angels out there? bannerfish? butterflies? Large tanks are just a whole different world to consider.
