Larger grain substrate

I'm considering a complete reboot of my oceanic 58g to be more tailored for an SPS tank including a new substrate that won't get kicked up by my MP20, but I'm concerned about the aesthetics. So, I'm asking for pics from any of you guys with SPS tanks with larger grain substrates and also your opinions on them. Will it get nasty? Will I it be ok for fish that like sand beds? How will it do for supporting microfauno populations and such?

I should mention I would only get one bag, this would be quite a shallow bed, probably around 1"

Pics please!

I don't have any pics, but the Caribsea Seaflor Special Grade has been great for my sps tank. It's big enough that it doesn't blow around much, but small enough that it still looks good and doesn't trap detritus.
