Seemingly they are much more difficult than Lysmata. They take 4.5 to 7 months and they have giant larvae like L.ambonensis.But very few people ever made them and it´s hard to find a larval description or any other literature on rearing them, for that matter.
I have only 4 larvae. At 24 days they are larger,5mm not taking the rostrum spear and antennae.I see some minor changes but nothing to warrant a new zoeal stage.I'd need many larvae to compare. It would be so easier if a larval description was available.
and only three remain. No major changes, the telson is more ovoid, with two marginal spines that reach the tip of the endopods.4th pereiop.is about half the length of the 3rd.
