Maybe a stupid question. Is it bad to keep salt for a long time? Do they loose their "freshness"? I have a lot of salt already, but thinking about stock more for the next couple of years.

They have it onsale pretty often. as long as you don't open it, I think they last a long time. If you open it, make sure the lid closed tight and store it in a dry location.
