Last question I hope - Electrical in nature

I had to replace he pc fan I have in my hood. I have a 600ma power converter but the fan is .9amp. The fan runs hooked up but I want to make sure it is not a fire hazard. Any input would be appreciated again.

You need a power supply that can supply more current than the fan requires. Running it like that may cause a problem. Probably not a fire but the fan and/or power supply may not last long.

ditto. I'd also be worried about the power converter getting too hot. It could be a hazard.
