I have two purple fire fish, rainford goby, fox face, and 3 green chromis in the last week of hypo. I've got some great feedback on a couple threads on my foxface with black spots. I'm pretty sure that it was just "scars" from scrapes. He had a few "freak out" sessions early on, with major darting and crashing. Recently he had another one that resulted in a small blackish line on his side. The original dots are looking a ton better. thank for all the feedback.
Is there any wide range disease treatment I should do while I have the fish in qt? They are not showing any symptoms and are eating very well. I have a "clean" tank and want to do everything I can to keep it that way.
On a side note, this is my first trip through hypo qt in my 10 years of salt water aquarium enjoyment, and it has been much better and easier than I had thought it might be. The addition of a Buckeye ro/di was definitely a great and needed upgrade to the system. I recommend and encourage those on the qt fence to try it out. Hopefully the effort will be rewarded by years of healthy fish life:rollface:
