Last week of HYPO!!!

I have two purple fire fish, rainford goby, fox face, and 3 green chromis in the last week of hypo. I've got some great feedback on a couple threads on my foxface with black spots. I'm pretty sure that it was just "scars" from scrapes. He had a few "freak out" sessions early on, with major darting and crashing. Recently he had another one that resulted in a small blackish line on his side. The original dots are looking a ton better. thank for all the feedback.

Is there any wide range disease treatment I should do while I have the fish in qt? They are not showing any symptoms and are eating very well. I have a "clean" tank and want to do everything I can to keep it that way.

On a side note, this is my first trip through hypo qt in my 10 years of salt water aquarium enjoyment, and it has been much better and easier than I had thought it might be. The addition of a Buckeye ro/di was definitely a great and needed upgrade to the system. I recommend and encourage those on the qt fence to try it out. Hopefully the effort will be rewarded by years of healthy fish life:rollface:

Another quick question....that hopefully can be answered while everyone is getting their answers prepared for my previous medication question:) I have a ph probe and a digital thermometer probe in the qt tank. If I want to move these to the main display is there a chance that they could carry any ich issues on them? Do I need to clean them or does the 5 weeks in hypo guarantee that there are no health risks lurking on the probes?

Thanks

let them dry out thoroughly to be sure.

remember to bring your salinity back up very very slowly and observe the fish it q/t for 3 weeks to ensure ich is all gone.

i would not do any other treatments unless you see something.

secondary bacterial infection is sometimes a problem after ich but if you see no signs no need to medicate.

All the fish have been in hypo since March 19. The foxface broke out in ich after the first couple days, while the tank was heading down into hypo. It cleared up immediately and there have been no reoccurences since then. gonna start bringing them out tomorrow....slowly:)
