Latest Addition 3" T.Giga

I just got a SM. giga in the mail today. It is only 3" in size. Here are some pics 10 mins after I put it in. I was hoping to find a little bit bigger one, but Im up for the dedicated feedings until it adds a few more inches.

Well, it should grow a few inches pretty quickly! They are very fast growers.

Nice specimen.

How well did it ship with the weather? Where did you get it? I heard Clam's Direct was pretty good.

Very Nice

My favorite clam.... Don't worry they grow up fast 2-3" a year I would say depending on lighting, water quality feeding etc....

I got mine from Barry 2 years ago and he was just under 5".

He is approaching 9" now (time for a bigger tank)

Got it at reefer madness, it shipped fine, they are in So Cal, and Im in Nor Cal, so not far to go.

Graffy - Very nice looking giga. What size tank is it in?

Hmmm. Mine is currently in a 90, but am on a 1 year plan to upgrade to a 220.

I Have to do it soon, the Gigas isn't growing any slower waiting for me to get him a bigger home
