looks like an extra colorful Discosoma sp. polyp from the caribbean....a very nice picture under proper lighting. there are some very underrated mushrooms to be found in the caribbean, you just have to know where to look. once they have adjusted to the artificial lighting of the aquarium some amazing colors like the neon blue seen on this polyp come out.

Since it looks like Marc426 posted this beauty then left us hanging, I suspect this is the same coral...

X-Men Rhodactis

yep same coral but in no way a Rhodactis. its a great example of Discosoma carlgreni polyp from the Caribbean. not really sure what the heck it has to do with the X-Men...but hype sells.

No hype needed for appeal to these uncommonly seen beauties. Not a name I came up with, rather one already used, see the X shaped extensions on the surface--thats where the X-men name comes from I assume. Get them in limited numbers Pink, Turquoise, Blue, and Bright Lime.
