🔬 ReefBot Lab - Tests Update 🌊

Dear ReefBot Lab Community,

We're thrilled to share some exciting updates regarding our ReefBot Lab devices! Here's what's new:

Tropic Marin Nitrate Pro Update: We've rectified the testing sequence for better results and tested it extensively with our Beta Testers. If anyone encounters any issues with the new sequence or has feedback, please let us know.

Additionally, we've added a scheduled stirring test feature that you can choose to run or ignore. This feature is beneficial for users who don't test often, as it ensures that reagents don't go stale.
To schedule it, simply navigate to the main dashboard in the mobile app or web dashboard, and click on the "Schedule" option at the top of the screen. The Tropic Marin Nitrate stirring option will be automatically added if you have its reagents set up on your device. We recommend running it once per day, preferably overnight when the device is not testing.

API Calcium Test Update: We've added a stirring test to the API Calcium test as well, along with rectifying the endpoint color reading. This update addresses lower readings reported by some users.

Tropic Marin Phosphate Pro Update: Temporarily, we're not recommending the Tropic Marin Phosphate Pro test kit. We're currently working on an update due to the high viscosity in reagent 2, which is preventing the reagents from being drawn into the syringe. In the meantime, we recommend using the Redsea or Colombo Phosphate test kits instead.
Alternatively, we're actively seeking new phosphate tests to make it compatible with the device, particularly test kits primarily available in Europe. Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Magnesium Tests Update: the following has been rectified: Salifert, RedSea, Giesemann, & Colombo to address an issue related to higher than usual values that some users reported.

Notes:
  • For best practices with Magnesium tests, kindly make sure that your RODI water has a TDS of 0.
  • Users who have no issues with these tests will not see any change.
We're committed to continually enhancing the ReefBot Lab to provide you with the best testing experience possible. Your feedback and support are invaluable to us as we strive to make aquarium maintenance easier and more efficient for all ReefBot Lab users.
