Latex gloves

Hey all,
Does anyone use latex gloves when working on their tank? I guess my real question is what about powdered gloves? I have been using superglue alot lately, mainly for sps frags. I am tired of picking glue off my fingertips all day....lol.. I have access to powdered gloves at my work, just concerned about anything in the powder that may harm the tank. Thanks guys, I would appreciate any experiences or advice anyone has to give.

I hear ya Josh,
I prefer bare handed myself, but this superglue gel I am using to attach my sps frags to their home is getting all over my fingers, and is a pain to get off. At work we use powdered latex gloves, trying to pinch a penny by bringing some home....lol... Saw your tank, looking good. I will talk with you soon, super busy weekend, and beginning of the week upcoming. I will call you Tuesday to chat....lol...

I do everything bare-handed and have gotten quite a bit of boo-boo's and stuck glue on my hands from superglue, sea urchin pokes, a punch from a small mantis shrimp, cuts from sharp things on live rock, anemone stings, and even an octopus bite. I'm not especially allergic to things, but I make my students wear latex gloves and even safety glasses. It's more difficult to manipulate small things obviously, but it beats getting sued!!

Mine aren't powdered though. They do make you clumsy somewhat.

Thanks ladyfsu,
Yea I hear you with lawsuits nowadays, can't take the risk. I too, prefer bare-handed. I am the Culinary Manager of a restaurant here in Lakeland, so I have access to latex gloves, just unsure of the powder. I suppose I could rinse my hands first in RO/DI water, to remove powder from the exterior of the gloves......

Josh,
I checked out the Chemistry Forum, and wanted to thank you for posting. Apparently this has been discussed before on this forum. Here is a link in case anyone was interested.
Thanks,
