lawnmower blenny advice

I have a 24 gal nano with a few hermits and snails. No fish. I have a lot of algae growing and had thought about a lawnmower blenny. Any thoughts on those or experience? Any other suggestions or ideas for something better or more colorful to eat algae?

They get too big for a 24 gallon.

Buy more snails, get rid of the hermits, and harvest a macroalgea.

Algae blennies are great , what they lack in color they make up for in personality! Actually i think their markings are quite striking.
If you get a smaller one you might be able to get away with it in a 24g. Mine seemed to be a slow grower and if it gets too large you can always trade it in!

You never know ,some will go nuts on your algae and some will be more interested in what you feed your other fish.
