Lawnmower Blenny Alternative

I'm setting up a tank for the first time and was looking at the lawnmower blenny for some character and algae control.

Are any of the blennies listed as herbivores equally proficient at algae control?

The Starry and Horseface look interesting.

Also, when QTing these I assume you need to feed algae wafers. Will this condition them not to eat tank algae and just wait for a handout?
