Ok, my lawnmower blenny has for the most part totally depleated all the of algae in the tank and will not take to the seaweeds or spirulina (stick on the glass SERA pellets) tabs that my tangs eat. Anyone else have any ideas for me so that I can ween my little guy off the tank algae before it is all gone?

I would soak your food in garlic and selcon worked for me standard flakes worked also formula 1 flakes.. it will get hungry and hopefully soon try to eat. Some though never do and just starve death good luck.

rubberband a piece of nori to a rock near where he did the majority of munching...thats how i got mine to eventually eat it from the clip on the glass

Mine eats LifeLine Herbivore like you wouldn't believe. It still eats the algae off the rocks and glass, but it can't pass up that stuff. It has a bigger belly than me. ;)

My LMB took about a yr before he would eat Nori off the clip. Now between him and the YT it never takes long before it gone, or they have hit the clip so hard its on the sand wedged in a rock.

My LMB eats just about anything I put in the tank, including scallops, silversides, nori, pellets, flakes, Mysis shrimp, you name it...he chows down... Sucker has a belly bigger than mine!

I think my LMB jumped ship and the dogs got him! Haven't seen him in weeks and there is no longer little mouth marks on the glass where he/she/it was nibbling at the algae.

That's funny. :)

How long did it take for your LMB to eat the foods you mentioned?
