So...one of my favorite fish in the tank is my lawnmower blenny. And before everyone goes on about how they starve after the algae is gone, I know lol. but I have more than an abundance of hair, slime and other algaes unfortunately! he just does not seem to care about any of it and now he is getting very skinny. He eats flakes/frozen and loves it but never seems to get any bigger in the stomach (its sunken) what can i do please help?

how long have you had him, was he thin when you got him? is there any way another fish is picking on him? i'm pretty sure they don't eat slime or hair algae. mine eats flake like a big dog! i hope yours pulls through!

My lawnmower is absolutely worthless when it comes to visible algae control. Only wild algae I see him eat is film algae.
He has recently discovered the nori clip I put in for my yellow tang... maybe you could try that for yours? The nori has certainly fattened mine up recently.
