Lazy Man's SPS Reef

Raspberry Lemonade

Its supposed to be yellow but its green. Perhaps the LEDs are the culprit?Looking for other opinions on what it might be.

Did anyone notice the beautiful brown digitata in the corner of this picture? Isn't it beautiful? It's the first coral I ever bought online so I have a sentimental attachment. It was suppose to be blue...

Pink Cadillac: Got it about a month a go. Its got some coloring up to do but the growth tips are encouraging.

Does anyone know where I could get my hands on montipora eating nudibranches? These monti's are out of control I'm now up to 300mls per day of comp 1,2,3... lol

LOL!

I feel your pain. I have given away almost all my montis for just that reason. That and space issues.

Right now some of them are plating out like crazy which Would be perfect scape for more acros if I could somehow get them to die... unfortunately I made the ultimate noob mistake and placed them all over the rock work so removing them isn't possible.

The light it receives is around 400-450 at the peak of the light cycle. Could be the par level I guess. What about nutrients? Nitrates are ~2.5ppm and phosphate is around 0.08ppm. I don't plan on changing anything for just one coral but I'm just curios.

Amazing Tank!
My question is about LED photo period. How many hours of peak. How many total hours. Ramp up schedule?
I will really appreciate if you can post you light percentages and periods.
Thanks

Lights come on at 2:30pm and ramp to the maximum value by 3:00pm.the lights stay at their max until 11pm and then ramp to zero by 11:30pm.

The tank is broke into 3 zones 2ft each. The lighting on each. Zone is as follows:

Zone1: UV 100%
V 100%
RB 100%
B 100%
R 30%
G 30%
CW 60

Zone2: UV 100%
V 100%
RB 100%
B 100%
R 20%
G 20%
CW 40

Zone3 is slightly more complicated since there is one H52HD and 2 sols
H52HD:UV 100%
V 100%
RB 100%
B 100%
R 30%
G 30%
CW 0%

Sols: RB 100%

CW 70%

Thats helpful!
I need to ramp up my lights, my UV, V, RB, B are running at 70. Whites at 55.
I definitely have room to go up gradually.

Keep in mind my corals are in the middle to bottom of the tank. The par is 400 12" under water
