Leaf scorpion fish

Does anybody have these as a tankmate to their seahorses? A very experienced seahorse aquarist says they're a perfect companion. Yes, I know their spines are venomous.

Assuming that you mean this fish: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=238&N=0 (Taenionotus triacanthus), it is listed on seahorse.org as a category '2' tankmate (usually safe except for some 'rowdy' specimens)

i have 2 of them.. not w/ seahorses.. the plan was to put them with seahorses but plans changed.... be prepared to train them onto Frozen food.. and if that doesnt work (mine still havnt taken it) be prepared to buy Mollies, Ghost Shrimp, and Damsels for food (it adds up to alot)...

I've read where they only need to be feed 2 or 3 times per week. What say ye?

lol srry.. ok well here it is.. sometime things get messed up b.c. i dont get to go to the LFS every week but this is basically it
4 Damsels (2 each.. given on weekends)
Ghost Shrimp (gutloaded w/ marine food) on mond. wed. fri.
and instead of ghost shrimp sometimes i do like a molly each...


w/ the ghost shrimp they get 3 or 4 each at a sitting.. i hope im not overfeedig.. but its been working so far

also since your in Florida. i am thinking of starting to do this.. go down somewhere and throw out a cast net.. i remember me and my brother could catch 20 - 30 fish at a time.. then set up a seperate tank for them... BUT this might not be a good idea w/ the Seahorses
