leaking Seal

The bulkhead on my refrugium has developed a slow drip. Is there something I can coat the washer with to stop the leak.
(Well that is where I think the leak is coming from)

Why not just try to tighten it up a little. Of course dont over-tighten or you could crack the glass/acrylic.

Those are words of wisdom spoken from the voice of experience. I've personally snapped a bulkhead in two by over tightening. I'm notorious for over tightening things though. Just be careful, you only get one shot.

Maybe try to take it off and look over the rubber gasket and make sure there are no cracks. Also make sure the area around the hole is clean so the gasket is getting a good contact with the glass/acrylic.

It is tight the leak only started months after installation.
It is a tall glass 20 gal

Back the nut off a lil then snug it back up by hand.. Should fix it.. If not then the only sure thing you can really do is replace the washer. HTH

I thought of replacing the washer but when I talked to Jonny Sunday did not have any washers. I will take it off and clean it. Does Home Depot carry them?

I know they dont carry bulkheads. Not sure about the washer alone.
