Leaky bulkhead stuck...need advice

My plumbing was leaking so I thought I'd take it apart and fix it. Wrong. Before I decided to fix it correctly I part to fix it quickly. I thought if I used a little silicone and glue at the site of the leak it would fix the problem and save me a lot of time and trouble. A word of advice never ever do this. Now I can not get my bulk head out because it can't be untreaded past the glue and silicone. I've tried a hack saw and can't get to it. So now my plumbing is shot.
Any ideas how to get it loose???? Please before I have to hire a plumber....is there anything that will remove my Gorilla glue?

I know where you are at. I just bought a used tank andthe previous owner glued evey fitting, bulkhead, etc, including the fittings to the pump.

I guess he never heard of teflon tape!!!:(

Here's the picture can't unthread the nut on the bulk head past all of my glue mess...

you are going to have to cut that sucker off, That is what a plumber is going to do at $150 an hour. Once Gorilla glue cures there is no solvent that will remove it. If you can't get a hacksaw in there how about a Dremel tool with a cut off wheel on it? They also make a wand that you attach to the Dremel, its about the size of a sharpie marker and you can attach the cut off wheel on to that.
Good luck!

You can also get one of those close-quarters hacksaw handles that slips over the blade. They work great when a normal hacksaw doesn't fit.

It looks like you will have to destroy the bulkhead to get that out of there. I would just use a dremel or a hacksaw and cut the nut in a couple different places. It should come off without too much trouble. What ever you glued to the bottom will also need to be cut off. Careful with the bottom of the tank.

Another way to do that is to just forcefully unscrew the nut over the glue and the nut will likely break. They are not made very well. When it breaks then you could take a pair of pliers and twist it off.
