well round one , first time my tank blew a seam out and lost all my corals..was done and out for a while bought a new tank round 2 going to be sps all the way .with fish..then my fish got ich i lost all my tangs and other fish ..:hmm3:round3 bamm fish have qt tank all fish healthy got sps from my lfs and all is good got 1500 in corals so far from feb to june then a local says he is selling all his corals getting out , bough his sps nice beautiful colonies ..but infested with aefw eggs not caught by me and didn't qt them so now i may loose all my corals and thousands of dollars again why do i keep doing this to my self ..this guy had some time in the hobby and told me they where clean no bugs i believed him mistake one and i didn't qt them mistake 2 . i have learned everything the hard way please if you are getting into this hobby get a qt tank setup for fish and corals..all i can do now is qt them and pray that the dipps don't finish the job..so sadd ..

Sorry about your troubles - $1500 in corals in 5 months sounds like you jumped in a little hard, in my humble opinion. maybe $1500 isn't much to you, however. regardless, slow and steady...this is a hobby of patience.

Tough lesson to learn...especially to the tune of 1500 bucks.

Treat everything as if it has pests, no matter where it comes from.
