leather acting wierd

hes softie ppl i have a leather and its been acting wierd to say the least was one of my first corals. but my tank is mainly sps LPS dom now. its been sliming and retracted for about a week and a half, the rims are starting to get a little greyish white as well. begining to think it might be chemical or sweeper problem moved all LPS away to see if itle solve it. thx for the help

definetly check that your lps sweepers aren't touching it at night, my hammer coral stung my toadstool badly, it turned white/grey in that portion, but recovered nicely, also leather corals have a tendency to shut down for a period of time and then sort of shed a skin like film, so just keep monitoring it & good luck.

well im selling the one type that isnt polyping well in hopes it will do better in a locals system. the other one a toadstool i think is just gunna stay in my spawning onyx pairs tank as it seems to love it lol
