leather compatability

I have heard that leathers can damage SPS by being in the same tank as them. is this true? also will they get along with
LPS
zoas
rics/ yumas
mushrooms
maybe a BTA

I have a coralife super skimmer and will run carbon, will they kill everything else?

oh, and I will be keeping several SPS after the tank has matured.

yes on first one. Run carbon 24/7. Keep up with weekly water change's and make sure that they dont touch each other......
you should be ok...keep an eye on sweepers on some off the coral......
