Just got a leather coral last week, put it in the tank and it has been dormant ever since, with some signs of opening, I have 400 watts over my 29 gallong tank VHO lighting, I had it off to the side and not directly under the lights, today I noted that the edges of the coral are starting to whited.brown adn when rubbed they disappate--how should I treat this--the tank is in prestine condition--from what I can tell--everything else is thriving, absent some pesky clear diatoms--any advise re this would also be appreciated
I moved the coral to the center of the tank directly under the light --we'll see if that does anything--leathers are supposed to be easy--I don't under stand what this is about
