Leather Coral- first one

I have a new addition to the DT! I purchased from my lfs. They said it was a leather coral. I feed my other corals 5ml oyster feast, 25 ml Marine Snow, and 5 ml Micorvore daily, as well as 35 ml calcification Ca, 20 ml trace elements, and 5 ml vibrance I weekly.

A couple questions:
Is this food regiment ok for the newbie?
Can these be split? If so, how?
I have him in a medium flow, mid level light position currently. Where should he be?
He is drooping due to size. Will this harm him?

I would love to know what type of coral he is as well.

Thanks in advance!

deff looks like a finger or spaghetti leather.. all my leathers are in high light high flow areas of the tank... while they do have polyps the vast majority of leather absorb organics from the water colum. you can cut this coral up and place the frags in a dish with rubble in a corner of the tank and they will attach..

I've been doing soft corals for 20+ years and I only do water changes.

NO coral likes dirty water.

Probably a sinularia. Very easy to keep. If you have lps, give them some distance as sinularia can be pretty toxic. No need to potentially pollute the water with those coral food additives. Even the cleanest tanks have more organics than the ocean.
