Leather Coral question

My dad gave me his 90g tank, and now that I'm in front of the tank all the time I'm worried about one of the leather corals.

Most of them look like:

However, one of them looks like this:

It's only been about 5 days since the move, so it might still be closed from that.

I have never saw it open, and I don't remember seeing it open when it was at my dads house.

Is there anything I should do, or should I just keep waiting?

Note 1: The water is cloudy in the pictures from rearranging rock. It's crystal clear now.

Note 2: I'm showing a small ammonia spike from the move (checked twice daily). It's at .25 and I'm adding 1 cap of prime daily while waiting on the spike to go away.

Thank you!

I've had quite a few leathers do this, most likely it will shed a slime layer off of it . And will be good to go after that . Good luck

+1 on normal for them to go through these periods, usually when shedding.
Just make sure its getting adequate flow, sarcophytons love themselves some good flow.
One species S. elegans (yellow fiji leather) actually prefer flow similar to whats needed to keep Acropora.

Thank you for the advice everyone. I'm going to move it a little to increase the flow. It's a a lower flow part of the tank right now.
