Hey Guys! I was wondering if corals tend to shrink at night when the moonlights are on??? I have a leather and it does great during the day but when the lights go off it shrinks.. So if anyone has experienced this please reply..Thanks!

My corals do it all the time when the MH go off and just the actinics are the only thing on.

Same here. Most if not all of my softies will shrink up once the lights go out and expand again once they come back on.

its normal everything shrinks up with lights out or almost everything

My almost shrink if I have to move the lights or some sand gets kicked up or sometimes for no reason that I can see.

My toadstool leathers only retract their tentacles, the finger leather shrinks slowly leaving the anemone crab that lives on it with hardly anywhere to go! And the green sinularia shrinks a bunch.

Mine always tend to shrink after the lights go off and may come back to full size an hour after the lights are off. Mine do what they want haha. They even skrink in the day sometimes for a little while if they want.

My soft corals shrink as soon as the lights go off that is normal
