leather coral

I'm new to the hobby and bought an established aquarium about a month ago. My leather coral was nice and healthy for about 2 wks but for the past several days has looked less than stellar with its polyps retracted. Water quality is excellent. Any suggestions?

If you could list your water parameters, maybe we could spot something amiss.

Mine for instance;

Temp - 78
Salinity - 1.026
PH - 8.2
Amm - 0
Nitrate - 0
Calcium - 420
Alk - 12
Mag - 1400

They will do this once in awhile if they are shedding their skin. Keep low to moderate flow on it and watch it.
It could also be from a water change, or ph change or water flow change also...Leathers are pretty resilient so I would give it a few days and see.

The rook hit the water parameter basics also

Thanks for your help!

My water parameters:

Temp: 79-81 (Running VHO's and metal halides, temp creeps up a bit during the day even with cooling fans)
Ph: 8.2
Ca: 420
NH3: 0
Nitrate: 10 PPM
Alkalinity: 10 DKH
Salinity: 1.024
Strontium: 8
Mg: 1440
Iodine: 0.06

Thanks again, I appreciate the feedback.
