Leather frag shrived

I bought a small leather frag. It looked similar to an Acro...branching, yet soft. It was attached to a rock, which I epoxied into a hole in the TBS liverock. The tank has a lot of hitchhiker corals... mostly tube corals or hidden cup corals. I have three hitchhiker brains. All of the above seemed to be doing very well. The rock has been in the tank since May 05. All water parameters seem to be in order. The leather stood upright nicely and seemed to be a very good addition. Then about a week ago, it just did not stand up any longer and seemed to just lean over and now has detached from the rock it was glued to.

I have also noticed the tube corals have all retracted (no longer nice, dark, and fuzzy) The hidden cup corals seem fine, the fish all look excellent and parameters all appear to be in order. I went ahead and made two water changes, but do not see any changes.

Any thoughts?
