Leather toadstool shiny

I got this coral about a week ago was going stronf then this morning i saw this...is it normal

yes this is normal for leathers ...they do this all the time and then will open up better then before....also give it some good flow too ...too blow off the shedded skin....

normal, you will hear this called the "waxy stage"....nothing to worry about.

+1 to all, toadstools occasionally "shed" off a layer of their skin, this helps remove algae and other forms of growth.
It may take a few days to a week for the coral to open up again.
