I read in another thread that there can be compatibility issues with brain and leather corals. I have a huge leather in my 55g tank and am wondering if I have anything to worry about. I definitely dont want to harm it! Its one of these:

You can get by if you constantly run loads of resh carbon. I have a toadstool and a few other branching leathers right next to many LPS in a 40G tank. I bag my own carbon and change it out every 2 weeks.

Did you ever have any noticeable problems because of your leather? Im considering getting rid of it now.. I dont want a toxic 40g. Its going to take up about 1/5 of the tank anyway.. maybe its time to part with it..

Never any problems for me and my LPS are thriving and growing!

Its your call though. If you don't want your leathers trade them for something else.
