I know it's normal for leathers to close and not extend polyps for a few days but I am wondering if I should be concerned.
Usually, one or two of mine would do this but since Thursday all of them are like this. None have extended the polyps. I did a 10g water change Saturday and hooked up the ATO on Friday. They all look good no drooping just no polyps. Should I be concerned or just wait it out? Just weird that all are like this. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
My parameters are: had to use a dip strip as I need new test kits
SG "“ 1.025
PH "“ 7.8 (not sure why this dropped, usually 8.0)
Nitrate "“ 20ppm
Nitrite "“ 0ppm
Ammonia "“ 0.25ppm (API drop test kit)
Alkalinity "“ 300ppm (highest range)
Forgot I did add Kalk this weekend.
Monday I replaced my GFO and Carbon media.
Here are pics of what they currently look like:
