Hi all. I am leaving the hobby. I would like to offer you my Tomatoe ClownFish Mated Pair (I keep no other live stock aside from a couple of snails). Various vendors sell these mated pairs online for 75$ and I have 75$ of Hikari Mysis Shrimp in the 3.5 OZ Blister Packs that go with the fish. I will be happy to take 50$ for the fish and give you the food for free. They have eaten almost exclusively this Hikari Mysis since I mated them. These fish are known breeders who lay prolifically, big orange/red eggs when happy. Just feed them and give them their own corner of the tank (or if you have anemomes watch them host in one). The big female fish is named Momma Fish and small male fish is named Gilbert. Of course if you have your own small children they can name them whatever they want.
I also have the tank setup the fish are in. See notes below.
I need the fish to have new homes by April 13th because on the 15th I am donating all my aquarium equipment to Good Will for a tax writeoff. If not sold by then, I will give the fish and food to a local fish store.
Rules:
1) first come first serve
2) you must pick up, my wife is recovering from an operation so I cannot deliver nor drop off at a meeting (I am in Norwich off 395 exit 82 so consider your drive time)
3) I will guarantee the fish to live for 6 months or your money back. They are very healthy fish, having never once had any illness (no ich, no sloughing, no worms, nothing).
4) you may while you are at my house, haggle with me for any other items I have. I have a lot of stuff but do not wish to go through the effort of parting it out to a bunch of people. I will be happy to show you what I got that is going to Good Will and give you first right to buy items off me at really good prices (at least 50% discount off retail; haggle with me). All items sold aside from the fish are AS IS.
5) Then there is the 28 Gallon Nano-Cube HQI setup that the fish are in. This comes with a second tank brand new. The lighting is giving me trouble. It may need a new bulb or the ballast may need a new switch or other work. Currently the light is out. This setup is 561$ on DRs Foster and Smith, plus 150$ for the second tank (still in its shipping crate). I would sell it all for the 150$ to someone who wants to get into the hobby cheap or someone who might be trying to breed their own fish and could use these items. Again you have til April 13th after which time the items go to Good Will.
