Sorry for the late reply, I just got to checking this thread again. I dont have any decent pictures of my current setup, and actually will be breaking it all down tomorrow for a move. Once I get my new setup going I will try to remember to send you a link to the thread. If you have any questions about the Apollo lights shoot me a PM, I did a group buy to get some locally here and ended up talking with the owner (great guy), and I have a pretty good knowledge about these in comparison to some other ones out there.

i decided on 2 AI Sol Blue modules. Could anyone tell me if i need the rail kit? I want to hang them from the inside of my canopy.

you dont have to use the kit. You can make your own brackets out of aluminum that you could get at Menards. There are a number of other ways to fabricate brackets to hang the lights. If you have a ruler, drill and a hacksaw you can make whatever works for you.
