LED for 180 FOWLR advice needed

I would like to swap out my t5's for leds. What do you guys recommend for a standard dimension 180 fowlr? Would 3 kessil a150 be enough?

3 Kessil A350/A360 would work but not A150's.

Yes, 3 a150's will work on a fowlr tank. I have that set-up on a 180. Your not growing anything, they light the whole tank very well.

It would look terrible.

I mean I put 3 A150's on my 55 and that looked terrible.

I can't imagine what they would look like on a 180.

It was incredibally dark.

If your not looking to spend alot of money why don't you just keep the T5's you currently have.

T5 are good lights.

Just because LED's are the "Latest and Greatest" do not mean they are necessarily the best option out there.

If you try to go cheap with LED you will regret it as you will have lights that are going to be inferior to your current T5's.

If you want to get some LED's that is fine too but get something good.

Lights are not something you can cut corners with in this hobby.

I want to swap them out for something more efficient and doesn't require replacement for a long time. I never said I was looking to go cheap, I said I don't want to spend a fortune. I am looking for recommendations on fixtures. I am well aware on not cheap-ing out on equipment. I was looking at the a350's aswell, what about the maxspect razor?

A 2 bulb t5 will do nicely.
Using a line of gu10 led bulbs over the tank will also work and won't cost too much.
