Recently i started a 10 gallon nano reef. Its just completed the cycling today. I am looking for led
Lights. Today i searched some stores for leds. They got 5watt multi color leds and they come with dimmer and a remote. So, i thought that get three of them(they have heat sinks too) and connect them to a wooden fixture with a cooling fan and change the colors with remote(after changing i ll leave them to that color only. 2 of the leds to blue and one to cool white. Its total wattage of 15 and they have a optics of 60 degrees.
So, my doubts are is the wattage sufficient(15 watts for 10gallon)Is the multicolor led do the job. Hera in india cant get any other leds i tried online also. I only got three leds attached together 1 watt each total 3 watts in three different colors(cool white, warm white and blue) the problem is if i use these leds their are huge and cannot get on my small nano reef. The other leds are the ones i stated above the rgb ones with a remote for changing color and intensity.
