Hi, looking to get back into the hobby. I have a 12 Gal Aquapod that hasnt been used much that I fig i will put to use and start a lil reef.
I want to upgrade the lights in the hood and get rid of the heat issue by going LED, and saw that current makes a 12" retro kit for the cube type of tanks
Would the Current USA Truelumen kit which has
(1) 9.1 Watt 12K white & 453nm blue, and
(1) 9.1 Watt 453nm blue
be a good upgrade to support some coral such as zoo's, and mushrooms?
The kit cost $170 from amazon.
Any thoughts on this upgrade?
