i would like to know where the best / most cost effective place to get a 48'' fixture for a mix reef tank... or what i should look for.

Brian,

There is a whole lot of things to consider. The two main questions that need to be answered are? (A mixed reef to some is LPS and softies and others it SPS, LPS, Claims, and Softies)

What are your tank dimensions?
What do you plan on keeping in the tank?

the tank is 48'' long by 16'' wide by 24'' tall
i would like to be able to keep lps, sps, clams etx....
