LED Lighting Help

Hi guys,

Just need some advice on setting up my LED full effect lamp for the Profilux. (Michael, I figured it would save you some time from emailing personally so I joined RC!)

Okay, I have the L3/L4 slot available, which I plugged in my LED lamps with a 1-10V splitter as I have 2 LED lamps.

According to the Wiki site, I set my illumination to 3 for the moon phase with it activating at 12:00am for a 30min run to 100% and an off set at 7:00am for a 30min run to 0%.
That's working fine.

Now where I get confused is the sunrise/sun set part. I basically want to have sunrise for 60mins on from 12:00pm and sunset from 11:00pm for 60mins.

My actinics are on from 1pm to 11pm. How do I set this up on illumination 4?

Yep set up on illumination 4 and make sure you have programmed this L port for this action also

So have the L4 illumination to turn on and off for those times? Ie. on at 12pm for 60min and set from 0 to 100% and the shut off. on at 11pm at 100% and go down to 0% over 60 mins?

to understand better, the simu LED's require the use of two channels, either L1L2 or L3L4 so you program the light accordingly to those channels

Hi Michael,
Okay, I've programmed the LED lamps into illumination 3 and have it plugged into the L3/L4 slot.
When I choose Deep Blue settings, or Light Blue, or WhiteBlue settings for the colour of the moon, it seems to stay the same colour (ie. only the White/Blue LEDs stay lit) and there is no visual difference. When I choose swap channels, all the lights go red in colour. Am I doing something wrong here?

-> normal behaviour - the channels swapped

the light color can only be changed on the new models (WITHOUT -DB or BW)

You have the simu, you need to program both L3 and L4

You dont state you have done this.

send me your data file i will have a look for you, I have a little EX unit sitting here for helping people with programming, I can then tweak and send the file back to you.

Thank you Michael and Matthias. Okay finally was able to get back online with RC.
Actually I tried to set up L4, but couldn't get it to work as well, so I deleted it.
Michael, I sent the file to your email for tweaking.
I'll probably need more tweaking when I set up the tunze pumps with the additional L socket modules that I bought Thanks and take care.
