ok so im use to the t5 lighting and when i upgrade i want to start new..Led seems to be the newest thing in our hobby so does anyone run leds?If so what do i look for when i go to do my new 75gl? :bounce2:

First you need to look at your buget and requirements. Most led fixtures cover a 24" x 24" x 30" deep area so you are looking at a min of two fixtures. Also how you are going to place it over the tank.
I went with a AI Vega color, I really like it and yes I did have an issue with the fixture at first but the company replaced it next day air and had great support. The down side was their means for hanging the fixture it can be expensive, i made my own and saved around $50. In all the flexability of the fixture is great and having the wireless controller is an added +

I have two AI Sols over my 75g. I have them mounted length wise. I've had the fixtures for over a year now and have not had any problems with them (*knock on wood*). With a 75g you will need two fixtures of almost any brand of LED you get.

I forgot to mention that you should make sure that the fixture(s) you get are dimmable. You'll need to acclimate your corals to the new lighting.

PAW is the best around, you can find some pretty good deals at times and the prices on led fixtures are the same as on-line in some cases. Ocasionally they have sales going on for the livestock as well that can make the prices pretty fair.

I will have to say that I love my AI Vega so far. We went with the hanging kit and PAW was the same as online pricing except for the sales tax. Worth the trip if you are serious about purchasing.

I just bought a Reefbreeders 32" LED kit...$449 shipped to my door...cant wait to get it in the next few weeks....controllable, dimmable, timer...the works. Perfect for a 4' long tank...

PAW currently has Kessil's and Ecotech Radion's in stock. Their prices for the LED lights are comparable online vendors. Chris is also a dealer with Ecoxotic as well.
