led lights, do you think this could be used for aquariums

Most people wouldn't like the appearance, far too white.

In that range in the spectrum, I'm not 100% sure what would happen with corals - but my hunch is you'd either get very fast growth, or very fast death.

thats expensive for something thats only as powerful as a 150 halide.

at MACNA sanjay said that LED's are not yet as good as halide but in a couple of years they should be. oh and Solaris' are freakin expensive. I think the Current USA LED fixture is gonna be cheaper.
