LED lights

I'm not great with knowing the coral lighting yet. What is the general rule of thumb for LED lights? I know with fluorescent it's generally 3-5 watts per gal, but I can't seem to find a straight answer for LEDs

multiply the result by 3 for watts as the number of LEDs the formula is referring to is 3W LEDs..
