Hey guys, i've started another system last last year and the tank is coming along nicely but I'm thinking my lightning may not be adjusted right. My system is very basic. 40g Fusion, 3" sand, dry rock and 30ml of bio-pellets (just enough to work on n03 and feed corals. I dose only 3ml of bi-ionc alk and cal a day which isn't much and dose mag ever week accordingly. Parameters stay with in 8.0alk, 430cal, and 1350mag (coming from sps's tanks i'm a bit anal about stability;)). No other filters other then the stock IV sponges and ghost protein skimmer which are cleaned weekly.

Anyway i'm running a OceanRevive Arctic T247120w fixture but on very low output. Only running ch1 for 8 hours and ch2 for 3 1/2 (white). With ch1 on 20% and ch2 at 10% i'm seeing 280 par at the water surface and the Euphyllia's are seeing 140-160 par mind you this is with a par meter on electric. The photo attached isn't a great representation of what the tank looks like in person, I had to lower the light just for the photo since it looked to blue.

If anyone has similar lights and or results with different pars please share. Thanks in advanced,
Brad
