That's my other option is to build a canopy. I have seen 1 where the LEDs rest in a cut out on the top.

I used 3/4 conduit pipe, bent a 90 drilled a couple holes and painted it black. I also used knock out covers for the holes.

Mounted from the ceiling.

80lb drywall anchor and hook. It's very sturdy.

Up through the ceiling and back down into the sump room. These pendants are so light the power cable's weight tends to make the lights uneven.
