LED Myth

I’ve toyed with some lower end cheap LEDs as supplemental lighting to my MH. I’ve had diodes, or whatever they’re called, burn out very quickly or last a long time. So, with lower end, I think longevity is hit and miss. Don’t have any experience with high end LED fixtures.

I don't have any experience with high end LEDs either.
My cheap ones are fine.

I jist purchased some used Radion G4's. I took apart to do some maintenance and noticed the thermal paste was dry and very scarce. I replaced the paste and added more. I may go back to MH
