Led sets that work best with the apex???

I'm looking into converting from my HQI setup to an LED setup. anyone recommend a good LED setup that works best with the apex? I'm very handy so I don't mind LED retro kits but only if it saves some cash (light box already built).

I'm still in the begining stages of LED exploration...what are some advantages of LED over MH and HQI? are the color/intensity/coral growth/ identical? I've seen some fixtures that simulate lightning strikes and sun rise and dawn from left to right ect. could I do this with the neptune system? would I need to buy any add on modules to controle LED's? any and all help is greatly appreciated.

if you do a DIY just use drivers that are dimming then it will connect right into your Apex.

hmnnn interesting. may I ask... if you use the VDM module is that the same as getting a dimming unit from someone else? or will getting one from Neptune allow you more control over dimming?
